Bognor bill  offers you the chance

to BUY a vintage copy of

Hot Rod  Magazine

This magazine is almost 33 years old and almost as new -well let's be really honest and say that it has worn well and the centre pages have become detached from the staples- otherwise it's all there, even the stapled in adverts!

Hot Rod magazine was published by "Petersen Publishing" who started the whole Hot Rod magazine trend way back in the 1950s when drag racing started on the beaches and public roads?

This edition of HOT-ROD is dated JANUARY 1970 and featured the 1970 BOSS 302 Mustang, World finals DRAG racing from DALLAS and the BAJA 1000 off road race.

Other bits are about Clutch explosions and a beautiful Model T Hot-Rod and "Dyno" tuning the VW? along with all the "go-faster" adverts.

I would think that this is highly desirable for anyone who is interested in what things were really like when Hot-Rodding was in it's infancy but then the manufacturer's got in on the game and now you can't even change a wheel without asking permission from the UN!

Please note that I have many other magazines for sale - tons of the real thing - Hot-Rod, Car Craft, Popular Hot Rodding (all US publications and VERY, VERY rare). If you don't see them just visit my shop on ebay or e-mail me!

I have seen copies of these magazines for sale in the "Don Garlits" Drag Racing Museum in Florida priced at $99 + 5% tax

Bid now for this very interesting and currently unobtainable bargain.
